Amelia got a new Slip-n-Slide yesterday. She was thrilled and immediately began requesting it be set up. However, her patience was tested mightily as she had to wait until after daddy finished mowing the yard to test out her new toy.Her patience was rewarded handsomely, as these photos show, when she got to slip and slide for the better part of the afternoon.
Lola watched from the sidelines as it was too windy and cool for her to test the waters, but, even though her first birthday isn't until June 13, I went ahead and showed her present to her. She seems happy to know she'll be able to "swim" in her very own hippo-shaped baby pool very soon. Stay tuned for photos.
